Who we are
MI Innovations is an independent software studio based in Sacramento, California. We build custom software for businesses that need more than what off-the-shelf tools can deliver — and we ship our own SaaS products to prove we practice what we preach.
Our flagship product, Tendwa, is the operating system for tire and wheel shops across California. We designed it, built it, and run it ourselves. That product taught us what it takes to ship and operate real software at scale — and that experience is what our clients hire us for.
We're also doing a lot of AI work right now. We've been integrating large language models, agents, and retrieval-augmented systems into client products since the first GPT-4 release. We treat AI as a tool, not a magic trick — and we know exactly when it earns its keep and when it doesn't.
